Addis Ababa, Ethiopia:  Sophia Bekele, CEO of CBS International has an honorable mention amongst the list of top 10 influential women in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.   One year ago AradaOnline started publishing a list of the most influential Ethiopian women to acknowledge their achievements and inspire the next generation of powerful female leaders in every aspect of life. This year the list grew to include 10 Ethiopian women from the previous year’s 5 and covered a wider category of focus areas to compile the list. San Francisco, California:  SF-INET a success:   CBS International participated to a successfully concluded SF-INET organized by SF ISOC.   The theme was on  Internet trust, challenges and the next 10 years, and  the current Internet model we are faced with growing challenges of trust.   The San Francisco INET brought together experts from Internet policy, standards, private sector and user community. The goal of this conference is not to find ways to focus on problems with the current Internet trust model but what we want the model to be in the next ten years.  Speakers include: Peter Dengate Thrush, ICANN Chairman, Jim Fenton Cisco, Daniel T Dreymann, CEO Goodmail Systems, Dave Lewis, Online Trust Alliance, Zaid Ali President/Chairman SF-Bay ISOC.     Ms. Sophia Bekele is a Founding Board Member of the SFBay Chapter.  The Chapter also held its first Chapter members’ meeting/social event with honorary guest, the Chairman of ICANN, Mr. Peter Dengate-Thrush and ISOC International Executives at the same time.
